Life will also be refabricated at the Improvention festival in Canberra, in the exquisite company of many interesting shows and workshops and people on 10th December 2025, at 10.30pm, Smith’s Alternative.

Life. Refabricated. is where improvisation meets theatre meets dance meets clowning meets music meets itself. And explodes in plethora of details that make up life.

Beside that Maja is performing as well in the festival 11th December, 9.20pm, at Canberra Rep Theatre the performance 4play with Rama Nicholas, Nele Kießling, Beatrix Brunschko.

Norbert is performing a short solo in the evening of four shorter solos by Andrew Morrish, Tony Osborne and Kevin Jeynes, 13th December at 10.30pm, Smith’s Alternative.

Beside that Maja is giving also three workshops and Norbert only one 🙂

Maja Dekleva Lapajne and Norbert Sven Fö have worked together in many different contexts, from contemporary dance, clown theatre and music making to co-teaching, working with peer support groups and writing.

Life. Refabricated. is their performative and writing practice, where their main field of research is artistic improvisation. This practice sometimes frames as a performance, sometimes as a workshop, sometimes as a discussion, sometimes as a performative installation, sometimes as writing and sometimes as formats not yet named.

Conceived, devised, performed, written and produced by Maja Dekleva Lapajne and Norbert Sven Fö.

Partly supported by The Ministry of Culture of Republic of Slovenia.
